" Outdoor Radio ~ With Keiji Haino "

The three-part program was "Sound map Kyoto" and " Kurama Onsen ."

October marks the start of autumn, and just like April, it's a season of new encounters. We'd like to introduce the program and the "Hasunuma Shuta Team" once again. The team released " Seneca " in August and " ZERO CONCERTO " in October, both of which are cover songs. They're not a band that was formed recently, but in fact formed in 2008 as an ensemble created for live performances. Now, 17 years later, we've recorded the "sound of the team" once again. We've played the newly released song "ZERO CONCERTO" with a little explanation. The album "TEAM" will be released on November 19th!

Today's Person was introduced to me by Kutano Moe. I spoke with Kaori Kakutani, owner of the greengrocer Gg's. It was the first time I'd heard the word "furiuri"! In the short time we spent together, I learned a lot, from her beginnings as a traditional mobile vegetable vendor to her cherishing the community and continuing to work at her own pace even after giving birth to a child. As we talked, I was inspired to do my best too! She gave me some figs, which were really sweet and delicious.

Kaori Kakutani / Owner of the greengrocer "Gg's"

Born in Kyoto City on December 14th, 1988. Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University, and completed a Master's course at the same university's graduate school. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, he came into contact with the feelings of farmers who were dealing with the damage caused by harmful rumors, and started Gg's to communicate with farmers. While helping out at a local Kyoto farm, he became interested in the traditional sales method known as "furiuri," and started a mobile sales business. He visits Kyoto's farms every day, delivering vegetables to chefs and ordinary households.

And we welcomed guest Keiji Haino. I wonder if Haino has ever appeared on the radio before? It's really rare! It was recorded before the performance that took place during Hender Scheme's exhibition at Gallery Sukima . The album release commemorative concert "Oto" will be held at Yodobashi Church in Shinjuku on October 17th and at Honen-in Temple in Kyoto on December 13th . Tickets for the Kyoto performance are selling out quickly, so if you're reading this, hurry up! The album with Haino will also be released on vinyl . CDs are great, but we also recommend the vinyl version, which highlights the large artwork. Pre-orders have started at SHOP windandwindows . Pre-sales will also be available at the concert venue. Be sure to check it out. https://shutahasunuma.shop/

As you can hear, this program is an alternative program. We will create the program together with you. We are looking for win-win supporters! You can choose from your own ambient sounds, original bathhouse hand towels specially made for the program, a special original case for "Daranisukegan," a traditional Chinese medicine from the Yoshino region of Nara that is rumored to be secretly popular in Kyoto, original program themes and jingle sound sources, and off-topic sound sources.

The broadcast will start on Sunday, October 12th at 11pm. Where will we see the next episode? Stay tuned!
