Ginza Vibration

The aim was to transmit the vibrations of Ginza outside directly to the gallery space. During the exhibition, microphones and cameras were installed in Shiseido Ginza's rooftop garden, "Shiseido Garden" (not open to the public), located on Namiki-dori Street. Images from the rooftop were projected onto the gallery floor, while ambient sounds were played from four speakers suspended from the ceiling. As fieldwork, the work conveyed the daily changes in Ginza in real time to the underground gallery space.
