Fluid Compositions

“Pick a water-filled bottle. Move and place it wherever you like on this floor in this room.”

This work involves visitors moving 77 bottles of water, each weighing 53.9 kg, around the exhibition room. The exhibition room is a space called a score, and the bottles act as musical notes, changing the spatial composition over time. The water in the bottles also evaporates over the course of the exhibition, mixing into the air like sound.
