Music Today

Is there anywhere else in Japan that is so open to music and art?
Tokyo Opera City is home to the New National Theatre, the NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC), art galleries, and a concert hall.
When you enter this space, you can feel the "music" even when there is no sound being played. Everyone in the space is a transmitter, and you feel as if you are a part of the music. The triangular window in the ceiling connects to the sky, and you blend in with nature in a space made of "natural wood."
"Music Today" will be held at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, where everything exists for music. We hope to create as many opportunities as possible for people of all ages, from children to adults, and even students, to experience music and art. We welcome those who don't usually have the opportunity to attend concerts to come along. We want to create the sounds of 2023 together. We look forward to seeing you at the Takemitsu Memorial Concert Hall. (Shuta Hasunuma)
