Shuta Hasunuma's 10th Anniversary Performance "Hasunuma x Shuta"

From electronic music/electronica to experimental solo works, to pop songwriting and production, musician Shuta Hasunuma has attracted attention from all quarters for his consistently rich musicality. He has been involved in a wide range of expressive activities, effortlessly expanding the scope of musical interpretation, transcending boundaries, such as solo exhibitions at art museums and curating music events.

The beginning of his wide-ranging activities was his first album, "Shuta Hasunuma," released in 2006 after an offer from the American label Western Vinyl. This year marks the 10th anniversary of his debut, and to celebrate his 10th anniversary as a musician, he will hold a commemorative performance, "Hasunuma X Shuta," at the newly opened "WWW X" in Shibuya, Tokyo. The guests will be a grand gathering of guests from a variety of genres with whom he has collaborated in the past.

This performance is the culmination of 10 years of constantly challenging himself with new forms of expression and constantly updating his own music. If I had only focused on what was in front of me, I would have been making music for 10 years. I started out making music by creating recordings, so I'm still a beginner as a player, and I think I'm able to continue performing live shows thanks to the support of the musicians who perform with me. On this day, I don't just want to face the past, I want to do something new that will be the first step towards the future, and I think I'll do all the live shows I've done so far as long as time allows.
