Music Today Tokyo 2015
"Music Today," an event series planned, organized and hosted by Shuta Hasunuma, a musician who has engaged in a wide range of "composing" activities and is also active in the field of contemporary art, is returning for the first time in two years.
The venue is Gallery 916, a 600-square-meter gallery in Takeshiba, Tokyo, curated by photographer Yoshihiko Ueda. This year's event will feature five performances over four consecutive days, the largest ever for a Music Today event. The event will also feature cross-disciplinary performances by contemporary artists, talks with Japanese artists, film directors, journalists, and critics in collaboration with the magazine "Shiku," and video screenings to consider the current state of Japanese art.
