()mo()mo()mo -Design and ways of seeing-

I will be exhibiting at a group show.

http://momomoten.com/

I decided to participate after being invited by Hiroshi Eguchi, Muneta Hashizume, and Shohei Iida. I am someone who is somewhat skeptical of the idea of "design." It's a concept I've never really thought about head-on. That said, I also have a contradiction within myself: I like things with good aesthetic design, so it's a theme I've had a hard time coming to terms with.

In this exhibition, he will present an installation titled "Infinite Hallucination (Metal Machine Music)," which attempts to deconstruct everyday designed objects and reconstruct them as music.

Looking at the exhibiting artists (judges), rather than those in the so-called design context, most of them are active outside of it, in completely unrelated environments. I feel honored to be included among them, and as a musician, I hope to be able to organize vague concepts through my work.

All in all, it's a very exciting exhibition.
