Aomori Contemporary Art Centre (ACAC) of Aomori Public University presents "Language and Space," a series of two consecutive solo exhibitions by Hiraku Suzuki, whose work transcends various disciplines while consistently exploring the fundamental and futuristic thought and expression of "drawing," and Shuta Hasunuma, whose wide-ranging "composition" practice involves scattering sound fragments in countless locations to create unique scores. In this exhibition, Suzuki focuses on the relationship between the origins of drawing and light, attempting to create moments in which new language emerges through the deconstruction and reconstruction of existing symbols through his own physical actions. Meanwhile, Hasunuma incorporates a wide variety of sound-producing elements, including people and objects, and exhibits his works both indoors and outdoors, generating unique musical environments through his compositions that elevate time and space to a whole new dimension. Experience the essence of each artist's creativity in the tranquil architectural space of ACAC, surrounded by forest.
